NZRDL – It’s just racing!

The New Zealand Racing Drivers League is a series of motor racing events covering the North Island’s racing circuits that is designed to provide core championship events for race categories or additional rounds for categories running in existing series.

With events at Hampton Downs, Pukekohe, Manfeild and Taupo, the League calendar has been designed to ensure that all classes wishing to compete at one of these circuits can do so at an organised race meeting.

League entry fees for drivers will be highly competitive and events will almost certainly follow a two day format, with competition on Saturday and Sunday and testing on Fridays. Is it political? No, not at all, it’s simply focussed on racing and putting on good race meetings for any class in New Zealand that wants that. If we can introduce new people to the sport or bring back people who have competed before, then the sport improves and that’s what we are all about.

Expect to see some of the country’s top club level tin top series and perhaps one or two new classes.  If you want to race and be part of a community only interested in racing and racing cars, then the NZRDL is the place for you or your class.

The NZRDL Summer series is events run by IRC, HRC, NZIGP, Taupo Car Club Manawatu Car Club
